We are delighted to announce the appointment of Scott Burry as our permanent Head Coach of the Minis. The Minis sessions are aimed at those in Year 1 from Sept 2020 and take place every Saturday from 10 - 11am during term time at Baunton Lane Playing Fields.

Scott is a well-known, and highly qualified, sports coach who has lived in and around the Cirencester area most of his life. Scott is a Level 3 (UEFA B) football coach and has worked for the Football Association (FA) in a mentoring and tutoring capacity. He is also acting as the Southampton FC’s U7s Development Centre Coach so we could not have a better person for this role. Over the course of the season we will identify a parent/s to take on the team once they reach the point of league matches in the U7s category (Sept 2021).

SYFC Chair, Jon Cummins, said ' we are really pleased to get someone of Scott's calibre to lead one of the most important teams in the club. The Minis are the foundation for our squads of the future and it is really exciting we now have access to Scott and his vast knowledge and skills. This is a great appointment for the club and we look forward to welcoming even more young people to Stratton Youth FC'.

The first session is free but, after this, we will then ask you to register your child with the club. The cost of membership is £40 for the season and will include all training sessions and attendance at our three-day Festival of Football that takes place in summer 2021.
